What a great question!

I wish I could take credit for designing Savannah’s most eye-catching real estate logo, but Paul Daley was the mastermind behind this interesting graphic. He obviously pooled from popular logos (Yahoo!, Ebay, Google, etc…) but by putting the ! in front of our name, it climbs the alphabetic listings for real estate companies. When properly typed out (!Daley Real Estate), our company name is placed before any company whose name starts with A. It’s the time-tested tactic used by AAAAA Cab Company or AAAA Plumbing. If your name pops up top, you will get more attention.

Honestly, we think about marketing in everything we do in this company and our logo is our first impression, so I like to think that the exclamation point is in the front of our name because our agents can’t hide their enthusiasm for their profession. Despite the headlines recently, we’ve consistently found things to be excited about in our industry.

It makes me grin because while we are a boutique brokerage, we are not a “mom and pop” or “family run” brokerage. !Daley Real Estate is the concept put into place by our founders, Paul and Nancy Daley. I am not related to them by any definition.

After 20 years in the business, they envisioned a highly visible service oriented brokerage and their vision became reality in January of 2005, when they left Remax Savannah to open their doors. I knew Paul and Nancy through my years of affiliation through Remax.

When I had my daughter in 2006, I started looking for a smaller brokerage and Sue Brown was kind enough to point me over to Paul and Nancy Daley. After a couple of years with their company, Paul and Nancy decided to take early retirement to spend time with their family and travel the country. When they approached me regarding the purchase of their company, I was flattered.

The brokerage was transferred to my care in the summer of 2008. Several years and one massive recession later, my company is growing and serving clients in Chatham, Bryan and Effingham Counties.
